Hello AD499 students and welcome to the spring semester of 2008! 

This is your professor Colleen Ludwig, hailing you remotely from Winnipeg, Manitoba. 

I’m currently installing a collaborative, multi-media installation at aceartinc.

I will return to class on Weds. January 23rd.  In the meantime, Robin Rogers

will lead you through the introduction to this class and your first creative assignment.

Here are the instructions for today's class.

1.  Review syllabus and sign syllabus contract.

2.  FOB sign up.

3.  Walk through using this Wiki.  Everyone should add their name to the Class Members

     page and begin their own page with name, year in school and major.

4.  Intro Questionnaire

5.  Read the First Project Description.  Discuss it if you have questions.

6.  Watch the Polyphonic Spree video.

Please be sure to come to class on Wednesday.  I will be attempting to talk to you

via Skype to show you the installation I'm building and interview

my collaborator Jarod Charzewski on the show.  The rest of the class period

on Wednesday will be work time for your first project.
